This beautiful and vintage buckle by Award Design Medals in Norman, OK is very unique. The company is no longer in business and is handmade. I believe the buckle is brass with Nickle Plating - not sure. The scrolling on the front is heavy gold plated. I cannot make a year out on the coin. It is pressed out into the Lady Liberty's head in a 3D look. There is tarnish on the coin and I myself, would not clean it because of the petina and up to the next collector.
