Antique collectible oblong handled scalloped edges porcelain basket dish featuring a hand painted couple scene decorated with floral accents and gold gilt beading with scalloped edges.
Signed by F. Boucher (1703–1770) well known French painter.
Measures approx. 5 3/4” (14.5 cm) x Large x 4 1/4” (11 cm) Width x 2 1/2” (6 cm) Height.
Has the Beehive Royal Vienna seal on the bottom with the incised number 03.
According to this mark this piece was manufactured in Austria in early 1800s (1820 to 1827).
Very good condition with light wear consistent with age with a couple of beaded gold dots missing and a barely visible hairline at the bottom
