This is a fascinating & rare pre-Titanic piece from the famed jewelry designer Ostby Barton, made pre-1912 before Engelhart Ostby perished in the sinking of the fated ship. It bears the maker's mark that was used from about 1906 to 1912, and is marked 1/20 12k gold shell. It is in good condition from an estate with minor signs of age.
