This attractive plate was painted by the early Chicago Professional Decorator, Beatrice Carlsson. Beatrice and Olaf Carlsson operated Chicago China Decorating Studios at about 1908-1911, creating high quality hand painted china. The Carlsson's are listed in Alan Reed's Pickard Collectors Book as professional decorators.

The collectible porcelain 6" plate features vibrant & lifelike pink, purple and white Mums on stem & leaf, against a unique gradient ground. Gold trim - may 22K Gold refer to collectors - adds to the elegance of this artwork.
