Many professionals believe the pain is the result of contractures and muscle tightening while sleeping. Studies have demonstrated that sleeping in a night splint can materially lessen morning pain, helping to eliminate the painful stretching process by avoiding footdrop and accompanying muscle tightening. The Original PF Night Splint features a footplate set in 5deg dorsiflexion with strap at the instep to ensure the foot sits in registration with the splint. Strap pads protect leg and instep from pressure. Includes a liner and fit left or right
