1950s 8" AC Betsy McCall Doll - Dark Brn Hair First Edition (M6)
The doll is in nice clean condition, no odors. She has the shorter fuller face of the first year doll and also has the stitched wig with a center part and bangs. The wig is in good shape and hair style is still very nice. She has 2 original barrette's. Her face is pale but cheeks are rosy and lip color is great. Her head and arms are good but she lost the lower portion of her left leg at the knee. Legs were attached with plastic, not metal pegs. She has sleepy eyes that open and close on their own. Her head and limbs appear good with no re-stringing needed. No cracks in her crotch area. She comes with a handmade dress with blue checkered skirt and white lace trimmed bodice blouse and panties.
