It records a power of attorney granted by Dame Jeanne de Saint-Jean-de-Luz, widow of Jean de Garat, a nobleman and royal counselor, to legal representative Pierre Daniel. Translation
"On Saturday, the 24th of September, 1579, appeared Pierre Daniel, procurer at the court of Bayonne, declaring he holds power of attorney from Dame Jeanne, widow of the late nobleman Jean de Garat, royal counselor and lieutenant general of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Said power was granted this day, signed by the lady and two notaries."
