One Year After; Asiwaju Women Cooperative Society Eulogises Late Grand Matron

The Asiwaju Women Cooperative Society (AWCS), has eulogized the former Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) South West and Grand Matron of the AWCS, Chief (Mrs) Titilola Olukemi Nelson who passed on July 17, 2022.

The group made this known in a statement signed by its executives, led by the Grand Matron and Immediate past FCT Minister of State, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu to mark her one-year remembrance.

The group described the late Mrs Nelson as a remarkable businesswoman and dogged politician who in her lifetime, touched many lives through her philanthropy.

The statement reads: “On behalf of the members of the Asiwaju Women Cooperative Society (AWCS), we fondly remember the passing remarkable soul exactly a year ago.

“Today marks one year since we lost the former Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress, South West, and Grand Matron of the Asiwaju Women Cooperative Society, Chief (Mrs) Titilola Olukemi Nelson.

“Chief (Mrs) Nelson touched countless lives in her lifetime and even after her death, she lives through her good deeds. She will be remembered as a phenomenal businesswoman and politician with a resilient and humanitarian spirit.

“She left her footprints on the sands of time. One of the greatest tributes to her memory is the legacy of effective grassroots mobilization, impactful advocacy, and service to humanity. We can only pray that The Almighty continues to be with her family.

“Continue to rest in peace, Chief (Mrs) Kemi Nelson.”
