The Ogun State Cooperative Federation Limited (OGSCOFED) has announced the appointment of Mrs. Olusola A. Ogundana as its new Executive Secretary, marking a significant milestone in the leadership journey of the Federation.

Mrs. Ogundana, who assumed office on 3rd December 2025, becomes the 2nd female and 6th Executive Secretary in the history of OGSCOFED, an appointment widely celebrated within the cooperative community as a testament to competence, dedication, and professional excellence. A development that underscores OGSCOFED’s commitment to merit, professionalism, and inclusive leadership within the cooperative movement.

Speaking on the appointment, the President of OGSCOFED described Mrs. Ogundana as “a tested and trusted cooperative professional whose years of service, integrity, and deep understanding of cooperative administration make her well-suited to lead the Secretariat at this critical time.”

Similarly, a member of the OGSCOFED Board of Directors noted that “her appointment reflects the confidence of the Federation in her ability to strengthen internal systems, support our member societies, and advance cooperative governance across Ogun State.”

Before her appointment, Mrs. Ogundana served as a Higher Cooperative Auditor and Extension Officer with OGSCOFED, where she played a strategic role in enhancing internal controls, regulatory compliance, and capacity-building for affiliated cooperative societies. Her contributions have consistently supported the sustainability and growth of cooperatives within the state.

A highly experienced cooperative professional, Mrs. Ogundana brings to the role a wealth of expertise in cooperative administration, auditing, and extension services, gained through years of dedicated service within the Ogun State cooperative ecosystem. Prior to her elevation, she served as a Higher Cooperative Auditor and Extension Officer with OGSCOFED, where she distinguished herself through her commitment to strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and institutional accountability.

As Executive Secretary, Mrs. Ogundana will oversee the day-to-day administration of the Federation, coordinate policy execution, and drive initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperative governance, accountability, and economic empowerment for members.
