Members of the cooperative society have a new anthem to inspire them as they work together to achieve their shared goals. The new anthem was posted on the Facebook platform page of Ogun State Co-operative Federation Limited and was greeted with enthusiastic applause by the attendees.
The old anthem had served the cooperative society well for many years, but the board of directors felt it was time for a change. They wanted a new anthem that would reflect the society’s values and aspirations and inspire members to work together with even greater dedication and commitment. It suffices to say that the old anthem was derived from one of King Sunny Ade’s music, and the lyrics go like this:
Alajeseku yi ti gbogbo wa ni
Ko ma gbodo baje
Tori ko s’egbe miran ta lese
Banki o dabi egbe
Eje ka sowo po
Kafi mo sokan
Gbeee ke mi gbe.
After months of consultation and collaboration with members and stakeholders, the board of directors commissioned a team of talented musicians and lyricists to compose the new anthem. The team worked tirelessly to create a song that would capture the essence of the cooperative society and inspire its members to strive for excellence.
The new anthem is a beautiful and uplifting piece of music that speaks to the heart of the cooperative society.
