MEET: Alhaji Wasiu Babatunde Olaleye National Treasurer, Cooperative Federation of Nigeria (CFN)

Alhaji Wasiu Babatunde Olaleye is a seasoned entrepreneur, accomplished business leader, and dedicated cooperative advocate. He is the Managing Director of Fanol RDS Products Limited, a leading soap manufacturing company based in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

A prominent figure in Nigeria’s Chambers of Commerce movement, Alhaji Olaleye has served in several leadership capacities including National Vice President of NACCIMA, President of ODUACCIMA, OGUNCCIMA, and ABEOCCIMA. He was also the pioneer President of the Ogun State Business Advocacy Group (BAG) and currently serves on its Board of Trustees.

An alumnus of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and holder of a Diploma in Business Administration from the City of London College, UK, he has complemented his academic background with international executive training in Leadership, Ethics, and Corporate Governance at the University of Pittsburgh, USA, and in International Business through the Warwick International Business Institute and Africa-USA International Business Network.

Within the cooperative sector, Alhaji Olaleye provides transformative leadership as President of Ore Oluwa Ijaiye Abeokuta Cooperative Multipurpose Society Ltd, Teledalase Obantoko Cooperative Multipurpose Union Ltd, and the Ogun State Cooperative Federation Ltd (OGSCOFED).

He currently serves as the National Treasurer of the Cooperative Federation of Nigeria (CFN), bringing his wealth of business experience and financial discipline to strengthen cooperative governance and sustainability nationwide.

He is happily married and blessed with children.
