Lagos State Cooperative College to Organise a Four-day Intermediate-level Course

The Lagos State Cooperative College, (LASCOCO) a global model cooperative institution established primarily for capacity building through continuous cooperative education, presents a Four-day intermediate-level course themed ‘’The Cooperative Business Strategy’’

This training promotes skills development for elected executives, members, and managers of well-structured Cooperative Societies in ensuring the success and progress of the Cooperative Businesses Model. The training is scheduled to take place as follows:
DATE: Tuesday 11th to Friday 14th July 2023. TIME: 09:00 AM prompt daily

VENUE: Lagos State Cooperative College, Johnson Agiri Complex, Scheme 1 Bus Stop, Along Abattoir Road Agege, Lagos.

Participation Fees: NGN60,000.00 ( Sixty Thousand Naira Only) This includes the 4-day course materials, certificate, tea break, lunch, etc..

NOTE: Participants from outside Lagos State or those residing in long-distant areas to the college can reserve accommodation with the organizers. There is a private arrangement for ease of proximity in nearby hotels for participants in need of accommodation and feeding.

Speaking with the Provost of the College – Mr. Akorede Ojomu on why the participation fee is this low compared to other management courses obtainable elsewhere, he said, “The Government of Lagos State led by Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu has subsidized all training organized by the college with grants and subvention given to the college to develop its potentials, This made cost of participation for cooperatives and cooperators to be able to attend and gain knowledge and skills that will aid the transformation of their society to meet all the socio-economic needs and aspirations of their members and by extension their communities”

He further stated that the vision and mission of the college drive what they do and the impact they are committed to leaving behind. We have provided the participants with conducive air-conditioned classrooms and a serene environment suitable for their learning experiences
