Lagos State Cooperative College Starts Admissions for the 2024/2025 Academic Session

Lagos State Cooperative College (LASCOCO) invites applications for Full-Time National Diploma and Part-Time Professional Diploma Programs for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The College provides specialized cooperative courses to improve cooperative business practices, advance careers in financial industries (micro and macro), and excel in the field of information communication technology.

The institution’s academic programs offer a comprehensive curriculum and practical skills that meet the demands of today’s dynamic labor market.

National Diploma Programme students not only receive a Diploma Certificate in their chosen field but also gain vocational skills of their choice at designated Lagos State Vocational Training Centres, enhancing their self-employability.

Candidates seeking admission into the National Diploma programs in Cooperative Economics and Management, Micro Finance and Enterprise Development, and Computer Studies can apply via UTME by selecting the College as their preferred choice. Alternatively, candidates who did not initially choose the institution can apply by switching to it on the Jamb Admission portal.

Candidates must have at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in WAEC/NECO or an equivalent, with no more than two sittings. For Micro Finance & Enterprise Development and Cooperative Economics & Management, three other credits are required in Economics/Commerce, Principles of Accounting/Business Methods, Marketing, History/Government, Geography, Biology/Agriculture. For Computer Science, five credits are needed in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any Science subject, with no more than two sittings.

For the three-semester part-time Professional Diploma In Cooperative Management, a minimum Diploma in any discipline in addition to satisfying O’Level requirements of five credits at not more than two sittings is required for admission. 

Prospective applicants for the National Diploma Programmes can apply online at: https://lascoco.lagosstate.gov.ng by filling and submitting the post-UTME application screening form for N2,500. Professional Diploma candidates in Cooperative Management are also required to apply for N10,000 on the portal or in person at Johnson Agiri Agricultural Complex, Old Abeokuta Road, Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos.
