INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Commends the President of the INEC Cooperative Society on Winning Awards

The Hon. Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, has commended Umar Buhari Ali President of INEC Staff Cooperative Society Kaduna State, and his management committee for their achievements at the National Cooperative Awards and therefore encouraged them to continue working hard and winning more laurels for the Commission:

The Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) Staff Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd. in Kaduna State has been recognized as the 2023 Most Outstanding Cooperative Society in the Civil Service/Public Sector Award. The President of the Society and Head of the ICT Department (HoD) in Kaduna State, Mr. Umar Buhari Ali, also received the Exemplary Leadership Award of Excellence for Cooperative Management and Development.
The INEC Cooperative Society was chosen after a comprehensive five-year assessment of all cooperative societies in the country by the Cooperative Rating & Award Society of Nigeria (CRASoN). CRASoN scrutinized the winner’s profile and subjected its findings to voting by its Panel of Jury and Assessors.
The awards were presented to Ali at the 5th National Cooperative Awards Dinner and Patrons Investiture Ceremony, which took place on November 19, 2023, at the NECA Event Centre in Ikeja, Lagos State.
Ali came to the INEC Headquarters to formally present the awards to the Hon. Chairman, INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, who commended him and his colleagues for their achievement and encouraged them to continue working hard and winning more laurels for the Commission.
The award dedication presentation was witnessed by the National Commissioner, Dr. Baba Bila, the Secretary to the Commission, Mrs. Rose Orianran-Anthony, and the Director of Administration, Mrs. Olaide Okuonghae.
