GYSAPEO’s Project to Benefit 10 Million Farmers through Agricultural Cooperatives

…To launch another Project aimed at Talented Young Musicians and Dancers later in the Year.

The Global Youth Skills Acquisition and Poverty Eradication Organisation (GYSAPEO) has unveiled its 2024 project titled ‘Prosperity Assured Economic Initiative,’ which aims to empower 10 million farmers at the grassroots level. Founder of GYSAPEO, Emmanuel Chuks Ozegbe, announced the plan on Monday in Abuja.

The organization plans to distribute fertilizers and seedlings to farmers at zero interest rates, with the aim of bridging the gap between the urban and rural food supply chain. Ozegbe explained that despite rural areas producing 95% of the food consumed in urban areas, farmers at the grassroots level are being marginalized.

The project aims to help lift 10 million households out of poverty and into prosperity through cooperatives, especially agricultural cooperatives, that the organization has trained and mentored.

Ozegbe also mentioned another project called ‘Your Future is Now,’ which is aimed at young musicians and dancers and will be launched later in the year. Nigerians should expect to see prosperity in 2024.
