Founders Unplugged: A New Course to be Launched by PCC

…It’s a 13-week course highlighting platform cooperative founders and how they achieved success.

In a recent Communication shared with all Platform Cooperativism Consortium (PCC) global partners by R. Trebor Scholz. Ph.D. Founding Director, Platform Cooperativism Consortium at The New School, NYC Faculty Affiliate Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University, he said, “We’re thrilled to let you know about a new course that we are launching – Founders Unplugged.

This new course is an extension of the spirit in which we ran our previous courses—building on the feedback we received. Founders Unplugged brings together 26 exceptional individuals who’ve shaped successful platforms, ready to share their insights, challenges, and experiences.”

The course will run every Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (NYC time), starting September 18th and continuing through December 13th. 

Each week, PCC will be hosting two founders from platform cooperatives to share their experiences and insights, followed by an open discussion. The 13-week program aims to provide a valuable learning experience by focusing on real-world examples of successful platform cooperatives. It is important to note that this course is not purely academic but rather an opportunity for participants to learn from the best practices and wisdom of experienced founders. We want to inspire and empower aspiring platform cooperatives and foster a deeper understanding of the possibilities and challenges in this field. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, network with other industry leaders, and contribute to the growth of the platform cooperative movement worldwide.

The pricing for the course is very accessible: Discounted at $180 for high-income countries and $52 for others. This is the price for the entire 13-week program, having 26 founders from across the globe.
