Don’t Betray Members Trust, FRCN Cooperative Executives Urged

The Director General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Dr. Mohammed Bulama, has instructed the leadership of the FRCN Headquarters Cooperative Society to maintain the trust of its members as they manage their savings over the next two years.
Dr. Bulama gave the directive when the new executives paid him a visit to his office in Abuja.
He reminded them of the cooperative body’s purpose, which is to offer goods and services to members that may not otherwise be accessible to them as individuals.
Dr. Bulama urged the executives to fulfill the diverse needs of members by diligently addressing all matters.
“You have to help us achieve that goal of having a contented workforce. I consider you partners in progress, and I will not take you for granted. I am committed to leaving FRCN much better than I met it, and part of the way to do that is to make sure that the workforce is highly motivated. I congratulate you on your election, and be upright in all you do.”
In particular, he advised them to promptly prepare a report on the Idu Land issue, which would then be submitted to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to secure possession of the land.
Ndubueze Chidoka, the President of the FRCN Headquarters Cooperative Society Ltd, highlighted the society’s commitment under his leadership, emphasizing its focus on meeting the needs of its members.
”We came on board with three tripods. The first is the disbursement of loans, and we are upscaling the network of our savings to restore full service of loan disbursement. We are committed to resolving any outstanding hiccups in the Idu and Gwagwalada land allocations. DG Idu Land is where we need your help seriously. We are yet to get a building plan for the land, and finally having a functional food bank is our plan for our members. You know, this’s one of the ways to put smiles on members’ faces.”
The new executives of the FRCN headquarters, Cooperative Society Ltd, were elected on November 20, 2023, and sworn into office on December 15, 2023.
