Doctor Haliru Umar, Re-elected President of Rubber Research Institute of Nigeria Staff Cooperative Society

Doctor Haliru Umar has been re-elected President of the Rubber Research Institute of Nigeria Staff Multi-purpose Cooperative Society. Doctor Umar was re-elected during the Annual General Meeting of the Cooperative Society held at the Rubber Research Institute of Nigeria, Iyanomo, Benin City.

The members of the multipurpose Cooperative Society filed out to vote for their preferred candidate, at the end of the keenly contested election Dr Aliu Umar emerged winner, and was reelected president of the Society – Rubber Research Institute of Nigeria Cooperative Society. Membas the members of the new executive of the Cooperative Society were immediately inaugurated into office as Mrs. Enoma the Director of Cooperative Services from the Ministry of Business, Trade, and Cooperative officiated the processes and presented the newly elected executives to their members.

The highlights of the AGM were the presentation of accounts for 2021, 2022, 2023, and recommendations of the Auditor’s report, Declaration of dividend, and some policy adoptions.

Goodwill messages were given by Comrade Filani Ojo, President of Edo State Cooperative Federation, MD/CEO of the Host organization ably represented , etc.
