The Golden Governor of Akwa Ibom State His Excellency, Pst. Umo Eno Special Guest of Honour, and the amiable Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Senator (Dr) Akon Eyakenyi Guest of Honour, have fully endorsed the programme for the celebration of the 101st International Cooperative Day event with a themed, “Cooperatives: Partners for Accelerated Sustainable Development” in the state, and it has been confirmed that both will be attending the event with the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Prinnce Enobong Uwah, the Special Guest at the event and all other State Government officials, including major stakeholders in the State under the Distinguished Chairmanship of Mr. Churchill T. Udoh, Chairman/CEO, Westgate Global Trust Ltd. Lagos, Nigeria.

The #CoopsDay event Flagoff is going to be on Friday, 7th July, with a leadership conference and training for Cooperators. On Saturday, the 8th of July, it is going to be for the Exhibition of Products and Services by Cooperatives, Walk Rally/Match Pass, Luncheon, and Awards for Excellence to be given to some deserving individuals, Cooperators, and Cooperatives in the State.
