Africa Prudential Wins Most Outstanding Company of the Year Award

Africa Prudential Plc has been recognized as the Most Outstanding Company in the Cooperative Industry at the 4th National Cooperative Awards, Symposium, and Exhibition. The firm disclosed this in a statement made available to the press,

Organized annually by the Cooperative Rating and Award Society of Nigeria (CRASoN) in collaboration with the Federal Department of Cooperatives, the award recognizes individuals, cooperatives, and companies that have brought innovation and creativity to support cooperative societies and developed solutions that add more value to the sector.
 
Receiving the award, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Africa Prudential, Obong Idiong, ably represented at the Awards that was held at the prestigious Nicon Luxury Abuja on Saturday 19th November 2022 expressed gratitude to the organizers and members of staff.
 
He described the award as a testament to the strides the company makes to create value through innovative solutions that make life easier for members of the cooperative industry.
 
According to him, the company sees the cooperative society as a major player in the economic development of the country.
 

The Nigerian National Cooperative Awards aims to enhance awareness and further promote co-operatives’ socio-economic impact, good governance, and sustainable business model by demonstrating to governments, policymakers, and development partners the socio-economic importance of cooperatives.
 
Further, the event pushes for modeling best practices, highlighting successful and innovative cooperative stories, and increasing the visibility of individual cooperatives and cooperators, while also improving the statistical and data methodology to allow for better analysis of coops’ economic performances and social impact that lead to the development of the cooperative sector and its key stakeholders.
